YouCubed Math Camps
Week-long math camps for students entering grades K–5
Introduction
YouCubed is the home for an approach to mathematics teaching and learning developed by a team of educators at Stanford University, led by Professor Jo Boaler. The goal of Professor Boaler’s team is to engage and inspire mathematical thinking and competency in students of all ages by educating and empowering teachers to transform the latest research into accessible and practical resources and strategies.
Since 2019, the team at YouCubed has trained educators to host summer camps for mathematics, and since then, dozens of schools and districts across the US have created camps based on the YouCubed model. A recent study of this nationwide implementation showed that campers experience a significant increase in mathematics achievement after the camp and throughout the following school year.
