SCUBA CAMP.

Through a collaboration with Neptune Divers, we have arranged an opportunity to learn to SCUBA dive in the safety of a warm pool. Explorers will receive an SSI Explorer manual, allowing them to understand the underwater world. Campers will enjoy classroom activities, snacks and daily pool time in full SCUBA gear sized just for them. Learn how to keep our Oceans clean through the Blue Oceans program. Earn a 4Oceans bracelet by taking the pledge to help with ocean conservation efforts. Upon completion, campers will also receive their SCUBA Explorer Rating and Blue Oceans Speciality. While this week is not designed to end with a SCUBA certification, it does provide campers the opportunity to get their feet wet and participate in future Explorer activities as their interests allow.  We will send permission forms to fill out and bring to the first day of camp.

Campers must be able to swim 12 meters without buoyancy aids.
Required Equipment: swimsuit, towel, rash guard, mask, snorkel, and fins - all are available at the dive shop with a student discount.
