Winged Leos (Grades 5 & 6)

Winged Leos engage in a variety of activities, including hiking, swimming, science experiments, and team-building exercises, fostering both personal growth and camaraderie.

SummerWorks provides an active and engaging day camp experience for students from schools across the Salt Lake area. Every summer, preschool through middle school-aged campers make friends, learn new skills, create memories, and have a blast. With week-to-week sessions, SummerWorks is an accessible and convenient option for families looking to build a fun and flexible summer schedule.

Camp Groups

SummerWorks welcomes students from preschool to middle school, presenting a wide range of activities aligned with their interests. Campers can choose from arts, sciences, and sports programs, enabling them to explore new hobbies and enhance skills in a fun, engaging setting. This ensures an enjoyable and enriching summer experience tailored to each child's passions.

Basketball Camp

Take your basketball skills to new heights! Our week-long camp for grades 3–8 combines expert coaching, daily drills, and fun competitions. Led by athletic director and varsity boys basketball coach Zack Alvidrez, this program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and personal growth. Hone shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense while building confidence and friendships in a supportive environment.

Bravo String Orchestra Camp

Join us for the ultimate music adventure! Under the guidance of Sarah Yoon, Director of Orchestra at Rowland Hall, young musicians of all levels will sharpen their skills through group rehearsals, interactive workshops, and fun music games—discovering creativity, teamwork, and lasting friendships along the way.

Fencing Camps

En garde! Discover the excitement of fencing in this dynamic weeklong camps, offered in partnership with Salt City Swords Fencing Club. Students will dive into the history, etiquette, and rules of modern Olympic fencing while mastering essential footwork, bladework, and strategy. Along the way, they’ll build speed, coordination, confidence, and focus—key skills for excelling in this fast-paced and strategic sport!

Rock Climbing Camps

Gear up for adventure at Rowland Hall’s Rock Climbing Camp! Designed for students entering grades 3–8, this camp takes climbers to The Front Climbing Club, where expert instructors guide them through bouldering and rope climbing. Campers build strength, confidence, and problem-solving skills in a fun, supportive environment. Whether new to climbing or experienced, they’ll tackle challenges, make friends, and have a blast!

Soccer Camp

Join our week-long soccer camp and kick off a summer of skill-building, teamwork, and fun! Led by 7x State Champion coach Bobby Kennedy, campers will refine dribbling, passing, and shooting, while participating in mini-tournaments and small-sided games. With a focus on sportsmanship and positive feedback, this action-packed program boosts confidence and brings out every player’s best.

Volleyball Camp

Bump, set, and spike! Our coed Volleyball Camp invites students to develop skills, teamwork, and a love for the game. Led by coach Sarah Yoon, campers master serving, passing, setting, hitting, and blocking in a fun, inclusive environment. Through drills, scrimmages, and personalized coaching, players build confidence, forge friendships, and take their game to new heights.

Youcubed Math Camps

Youcubed is the online home for an approach to mathematics teaching and learning developed by a team of educators at Stanford University, led by Professor Jo Boaler. The goal of Professor Boaler’s team is to engage and inspire mathematical thinking and competency in students of all ages by educating and empowering teachers to transform the latest research into accessible and practical resources and strategies.
