Algebra Primer

This class will cover these specific Algebra concepts/skills:

  1. Addition, Subraction, Multiplication & Division of
    Rational Numbers
  2. Substitution and solving X & Y intercepts
  3. Distributive Law and solving one variable equation
  4. Operations with Radicals
  5. Operations with Exponents
  6. Scientific Notation
  7. Factoring Quadratics (time permitting)
  8. The Quadratic Equation (time permitting)

The book required for this class, entitled "Painless Algebra" is included in the registration fee.  

This class is intended for those students who need a review of these concepts (9th graders going
into Algebra I US), those students who have had pre-algebra and want an introduction to core algebra concepts/skills (incoming compacted 7 or regular 8 students).
