OVERNIGHT AT YMCA CAMP ROGER

This summer's Overnighter, open to campers ages 8-12, will be held during the first week of August (exact dates TBD) during our "Heroes Return" week.  The overnight is a two night / three day outdoor trip, spent in the beautiful Uinta mountains.  YMCA Camp Roger will serve as our home base where we will explore the great outdoors, travel on horseback, hike Moose Mountain, tell stories under star-filled skies, tent camp, and create lasting memories around the campfire.  Our very own SummerWorks Guides (10-12 year old campers) will help design this overnighter by choosing activities and helping to create our daily schedule.  While at Camp Roger, campers will be accompanied and supervised by our SummerWorks staff members.  If you are interested in participating in this year's Overnighter, you are encouraged to attend the full week camp the first week of August (2nd-6th).  Prior to the overnight, we will spend two days at SummerWorks preparing for our adventure by engaging in team building activities, writing our Hero Stories, and practicing the camp songs we will sing around the campfire!  We hope you can join us.  The SummerWorks Overnighter is truly a highlight of the summer.
