Mike Shackelford

Mike Shackelford joined Rowland Hall last year as our middle and upper school debate coach after a three year successful run as the debate coach at Pepperdine University. In 2007 Mike was named the top-preferred college debate judge nationwide, and went undefeated for affirmative arguments during his final year as an undergraduate at Weber State College, where he still consults as a coach. He teaches at summer camps all over the country and has competed or taught at every competitive and educational level. He loves working with young kids and facilitating their ability to speak up and speak out!
