Kathy Howa

Kathy Howa has been teaching in the physical education department at Rowland Hall for over sixteen years and serves as an assistant coach in the high school volleyball program. A standout three-sport athlete at Hillcrest High School, Howa received an athletic scholarship to the College of Eastern Utah where she was named Outstanding Volleyball Player for two seasons. She has spent much time teaching and coaching tweens and teens at Rowland Hall as well as outside the school. Kathy is a model leader for young women, as her “Swing for Life” Foundation has to date raised over a quarter of a million dollars from nearly 90 schools in nine states to support breast cancer research.
