Jo Edwards

Jo Edwards is currently the co-head coach of our Middle School Cross-Country Program. She coached Rowland Hall’s boys' and girls' high school cross country teams for five years starting in 2001. The boys placed 3rd in the 2006 State Cross-Country Championships. Both girls and boys won the Region 14 Championships in 2005, and the boys went on to place 5th in the State Championships. Before coming to the United States, Jo Edwards was the head coach for the cross-country and track girls' teams at Millfield School in Somerset, England, coaching the girls to two National Cross-Country Championship titles. In her own running career, Jo was a member of the winning Oxford team in the British Universities Cross-Country Championships, and she placed 6th as an individual. She has been ranked in the top 20 in the UK for Women's Half-Marathon, and she placed 32nd in the 1996 London Marathon Elite Women's Race.
