Location
The McCarthey Campus of Rowland Hall is a beautiful and spacious educational village with art and music facilities, performance spaces, playing fields, gymnasiums, and plenty of space to explore and find quiet time. It is situated just south of the University of Utah and is directly across the street from the Salt Lake Sports Complex and Steiner Aquatic Center. SummerWorks programming takes advantage of our proximity to downtown, nearby parks, gardens, trails, zoo, arts centers, and museums.
Daily Hours & Extended Care
Our hours are 9:00am-4:00pm for the full-day option and 9:00am-12:30pm (morning) and 12:30pm-4:00pm (afternoon) for the half-day option for our 4-7 year olds.
SummerWorks offers extended care for one hour before the start of camp (8 am-9 am) for $8.00 per day or $37.50 for the entire week.
Afternoon extended care is also available from 4:15 pm - 5:30 pm for $11.50 per day or $55.00 for the entire week. An additional $1.00 per minute fee is charged for each minute the camper remains past 5:30 pm. Fees accrued during the camp week will be charged to the credit card on file the week following the session.

Registration Fees & Deadlines
Parents may register online for camps until the day of camp, though we encourage early registration to secure your reserved space in camps. Parents receive a discount for your pre-May 15 registration. If you are registering your camper(s) for 8 - 9 weeks of camp, you are eligible for the discounted rate (approximately $20/week off). Please contact us if you are interested in a special sibling rate or a payment plan. Payment can be made online by credit card or in-person by check or cash.
Registration is open until the Monday morning of the camp session. Families who receive the early registration or 8-9 week registration discount are eligible for a 50% tuition refund for cancellations up to the Friday prior to the start of camp. Families who register week-to-week may cancel up to the Friday prior to the start of the camp session and will receive a full refund but will be charged a $10 cancellation fee.
