Rowland Hall Summer Programs - SummerWorks and SummerRocks
2011 Rowland Hall Summer Programs

SummerWorks, which is now in its 20th year, is an active and engaging day camp for kids ages 4-12 who want to explore a wide variety of new interests while having a blast with our exceptional camp staff. SummerWorks features daily swim lessons for our 4-7 year olds and the opportunity for our older campers to choose their schedule each week. New for this summer are several overnight adventures including a Colorado River trip and a backpacking trip in the High Uinta Mountains. Each session, which is based at Rowland Hall's McCarthey Campus, is one week long and includes both full- and half-day options (for our 4-7 year old campers).
SummerRocks is our newest summer program and its aim is to challenge middle- and high-schoolers in unique special interest mini-courses and sports camps throughout the summer. Taught by Rowland Hall's own faculty, each SummerRocks course and sports camp takes a new approach to traditional topics in the areas of science, art, literature, math, and athletics. Each course is one week long and, with convenient morning and afternoon offerings, youth may design a summer experience that engages their unique interests.
Get ready for a summer of outdoor adventures, artistic self-expression, physical activity, exploration of science, literature, and more--all in a welcoming environment with world-class instructors.
