A Summer Like No Other

Rowland Hall SummerWorks provides an active and engaging day camp experience from June 11- August 10th, 2012 for Rowland Hall students and students from a wide variety of schools across the Salt Lake area. Every summer, campers make friends, learn new skills, create memories, and have a blast! Campers between the ages of 4 and 16 will find a range of activities and options that allow them to design a summer around their specific interests and imaginations.

Our week-long sessions and half- and full-day options makes SummerWorks an accessible and convenient option for parents looking to build a fun and flexible summer schedule. We recruit the very best camp staff members and expert instructors who together create an unparalleled summer experience for your child- which is the key to making SummerWorks a summer like no other!

Activities facilitated by Rowland Hall faculty and expert community instructors
Daily swim lessons for our Cubs (4preK-K) and Leos (1st -5th grade)
Wide variety of unique themed camp sessions designed by Rowland Hall faculty for our Winged Lions (6th-8th grade)
Exciting outdoor trips for Leos and Winged Lions
State-of-the-art educational facility with easy access to swimming and summer field trips

New in Summer 2012:

Enhanced Early Childhood Program for 4-5 year olds (Cubs) that focuses on imaginative play, friendship skills, personal responsibility, and literacy.
In addition to campers' choice focus blocks, Leos now have the option to elect Enrichment Activities such as tennis, golf, and lego construction for the morning session.
Intensive leadership development program for students entering 9th-10th grade: Leaders in Training
Expanded Outdoor Trip offerings, including rock climbing and a one-night Camp Roger Overnight specifically for our Jr. Leos.
Infinite possibilities for middle schoolers with our Winged Lion Camps- tons of new offerings in the areas of sport, art, technology, academics, and outdoor adventures.
